This two-page chart summarizes the energies and actions of food, helps you determine what to feed your Qi, Blood, Yin or Yang deficient patients, and which foods to use to resolve stagnation, drain damp and transform phlegm. Page one is about Food Energy: Yang (hot/warm), Yin (cold/cool) and Neutral. For each category there is a list of food items and their various functions and indications. The second page focuses on Food Actions and provides 7 tables with lists of food and herbs that tonify Qi, Yin, Yang or Blood, resolve stagnation, transform phlegm and drain damp.
